Aatmica Ojha

 Born in Lucknow,India and graduated in design from Bangalore University.

Aatmica had a keen interest in experimenting with colours from early childhood. She started expressing her interest in art
by making greeting cards from the age of eight. A self taught artist who likes exploring natural forms and textures and the use of a wide array of colours.
 
She received her first appreciation at High School level, which was followed by Certificate Of Appreciation 
for Painting by Monomanini- Creative Art Organisation, State Government of Orissa.
She loves to participate in National and International painting competitions.Her work regularly features in 
international online collections and art galleries of India and is appreciated by various acclaimed artists.
 
Her work has been exhibited at renowned art galleries like Galerie Sara Arakkal , Mahua Art Gallery and 
Gallery 3rd Eye- Bengaluru.

About the Artwork

This painting is a plea to keep our water bodies clean by preventing the disposal of waste. Here we see how the disposed waste spoils the look of clean water and also harms it terribly. The dirt not only contaminates the water but also kills our marine life. This painting is my attempt to awaken my fellow countrymen to come forward and save our precious Mother Nature before it's too late!
