Born in 1938, had his art education from Delhi College of Art and worked along the doyens of modern Indian art to establish an energetic art scene in the capital.

His interest for graphic design and colours has helped him formulate his planned out abstractions and also brought him many accolades. His pictorial frames are fields of perfection, going beyond representations. He creates fields of contemplation for the viewers in his paintings.

He is also an ardent photographer and filmmaker and has several short films to his credit while his photographic works have also been widely featured and appreciated.
