Her background of paintings skills enabled her to contact many well-known personalities such; Lord Mountbatten, Viceroy of India, Sir George Leyland, Governor of Bombay, Maharaji Syajirao Gaikwad of Baroda Royal Family, Maharaja Patwardhan of Sangli, Maharashtra, Nawab Iqbal Mohammed Khan, Palampur, Begum of Bhopal and many others.
1923-27 Graduation from S.N.D.T University’s Girl’s High School, Bombay. 1927-31 Art education from J.J. School of Art, Bombay.
1931 First Lady to receive Govt. Diploma in Painting and stood 2nd in the exam, J.J. School of Art, Bombay.
1938 Visited Royal Society of Arts, London She has exhibited at different Art Galleries in India, England, Scotland, France, Germany and Italy.
1931 Won Silver Medal, J.J. School of Art, Bombay. Received cash prizes and 11 Silver Medals from different art society exhb. at Bombay, Calcutta, Delhi, Poona, Kumbhakonam, Madras, Mysore, Baroda, Simla, Karachi and Ceylon.
1939-50 Fellowship offered by the Royal Society of Art, London.
