Visions Art specializes in Modern and Contemporary Indian Art. We also house a collection of art objects, artefacts, and works in other media.

Contemporary Indian Art or Indian Contemporary Art is broadly defined as Indian Art created during the 1900s and after. In particular, it is the body of work created during and after 1985 – influenced by Indian modernism yet forward looking and experimental in theme, style, and medium.

Modern Indian Art or Indian Modern Art is defined as a movement that began in the late 1800s. Inspired by Indian themes and images, the body of work was created by new schools of art that emerged in both pre and post Independent India – and was, early on, influenced by Western styles.
